Brake fluid change 2001 S430

Can the brake fluid be changed by just bleeding each wheel? If so which wheel should I start with.....the closest or farthest from the MC?
Thanks in advance for your help. Mark

Personally, when I do complete brake fluid flush, I open up all 4 screws and just keep feeding the M/C reservoir until everything comes out clear.

You'll need 4 small bottles, a small wrench, and tubing to fit over the bleed screws (unless you don't mind making a mess) and a large bottle of fluid. You should also suck out enough fluid to see the bottom of the reservoir (but not enough to empty it) to make sure there's no chunks of anything that could cause problems making their way through the system.

While the old "loosen & push" method is recommended, I don't like using any sort of force on the fluid that's passing through the ABS system; it's very sensitive.

COOLVT, the sequence is RR, LR, RF, LF assuming you have a left drive automobile. Best to use a pressure bleeder and follow the instructions. Pumping the brake pedal to bleed the system may damage the master cylinder.
