I think those wheels look great on that car.....and they have a decent amount of rubber, so road...issues...can't destroy things so easily....a serious concern around here.

The current tire size on the wheels are 205s, and the wheels I'm getting have a tire size of 225. 17x7.5 AMG aero IIs.

I'm hoping it fills out the wheel well a bit better than the 16s on the original Excelsior:

You know, I used to despise any sort of wagon, but I really dig yours.

Well, I won't "completely" spoil the upcoming news, but this was not a good day for the newest wagon in Tyler's fleet......

Not nearly as bad as it could of been, but an old man was kind enough to rear-end the Excelsior-A today.

The front clip of his Chrysler 300C was all out of whack, with broken clips and a pushed back light. I initially thought the rear impact strip was cracked, but its only a scratch. I couldn't find any other damage.

I will look tomorrow in some daylight and report back.

Uh oh Tyler. I just noticed your signature, and I think I will be having some high level cabinet meetings discussing the possible addition of the Rogue W to the list.......

I don't have a choice, Jimmy. There's simply no more room to fully write out wagon...

Yup. Took it to California and back on a road trip, and sold it to a forum member a few months ago.

Here's the sale thread:

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=278675

New wagon project involves W123s.

If you call the 3 inch scratch on the rear bumper that buffed out an accident... No. The 300C didn't fare as well.

Damn. For the love of pete. So having one, selling it, realizing it shouldnt have been sold, getting another one, fixing it up, stating that this one is a keeper and wont be sold......only to be sold.

Well I have to say. What a sweet wagon. I am inspired to go black with my W124 300TD. The burgundy paint is hurting in places, clear peeling in others. 2 or three minor dings. It needs full repaint. Add a little more work cutting in the doors, jams, hood, it would be sweet all black.

So what is the W123 wagon project looking like?
