I no longer need and drive a wagon. However W124 wagon is more pleasant to my eyes than W210 wagon with the rounded back, but I prefer the W210 sedan.

Nice car, congratulations! What did you pay for the car and what is after all R&R?

Nice wagon and good luck on your project!

I'm also a huge wagon fan :-)
Bought ours almost 9 years ago with 67K, now it has 231K and running great! I have installed 500E front struts and 500E f/r springs and sway bars, really improves handling! Also, currently running W210 17" wheels, here's a picture...

hello,

nice wagon. i just bought a similar one but it's a 92. what size tires are you running on your 17"s? i'm running amg's off a 2004 clk and they are rubbing in the back. (7.5 225/45/17 and 8.5 245/40/17) i think i'll have to give them up.

too.. muchhhh.. fenderrr gapppppp. but thats my opinion

Also, I'd look into a protection system for the nose of the car. PPG makes a really great clear bra that is practically invisible once applied.

I like my dental fillings just where they are. I know it would look better lowered, but not at the expense of comfort and usability.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm running 215/45-17 front and back. Wheels are 17 x 7.5, ET37.

"Mind the gap". There are H&R lowering springs available specifically for the wagon. Almost got a set off ebay before my wife (it's HER wagon) stated NO. Ended up cutting a coil off the front springs, now has a very slight rake that is not noticed unless a stock one is next to it. Also no ride quality issues (she would be the first to tell me). But, its your car...Enjoy!

Nice wagon.

Man, that thing is sitting high.... Needs to be lowered ASAP.

I agree that 16s look too small. 17" wheels look good, and if you get a good tire (Michelin) they ride decent too.

My new acquisition is off to the body shop, and I won't see her until next Monday. I am a bit nervous because I was able to check in daily on Ol' Turbo's progress, and really look closely on the details. Hopefully they will do the same quality job.

I have quite a few wheel options now, but I have not taken the plunge yet.

I just don't want to sacrifice ride quality too much, and I could use the extra ground clearance. I'm sure lowering would look fantastic, though.
