A myna diesel would be awesome. The M104 is ok too......but I am partial to the M103.

Now, a M103 super-turbo putting 650hp to the rear wheels would be the best IMHO.

Our 300E needs to be repainted, and my father in law (been in body shop for over 25+ years) might repaint it in the spring....its nice having a body shop person in the family! The only cost will likely be just the paint itself.

Why not have the 2 more valves per cylinder to help feed all that turbo power?

while i hate to say it, the m104 24v heads aren't as suitable for turbo'ing as the m103 12v heads. but the m104s are SOOOOOO much nicer.

Got the Excelsior back today, and she looks amazing. Unfortuantely its getting dark so early the pictures didn't turn out well. Here are the better ones.

While I can't really tell much, the head body guy is making me come back in a few weeks to get the hood painted again. He says the subtle cracks in the paint are showing through, and will do a thorough sand down and respray free of charge.

Not only did they spray the cladding, hood, and under headlight area, they also touched up any other outstanding scratches/chips, popped out a few dings, buffed the entire car, and put on a subtle black pinstripe to cover the painted gold one.

It was love at first sight.
