Coil polarity test

Im a student studying auto electrics and would like to know how you test a coil for correct polarity other than using a pencil test.......

Hey, Welcome to the Forum.

Don`t let these guys blow you out of the water.

I have been away from gas engines for so long, I don`t remember how to do that. I remember being knocked on my butt from the spark plug wires a few times.

Check out in the tech part of the Forum, there are more knowledgable guys there. or come back here when more of us have had our coffee .

NOT all of the Diesel fanatics on this forum are cluless. some of these guys are (CLoset gassers) .

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto
