Diagnosis port location

I just acquired a 1992 400E and the SRS light is on. I want to read the codes but can't find the location of the X92 diagnosis port to read off the codes. Per the service manual, the port should be located under the hood just in front of the fire wall - see attached image.

Is it located inside the box that's in front of the fire wall or some other place?

Thanks,

HS

The port is covered with plastic cap, perhaps this is the reason why you cannot see it. It is very close to the port of your diagram. 16 pin diagnostics socket.
