Does a w201 have 2 fuel pumps???

I just got under the rear of my 1989 190E to change the fuel pump but for some reason there are two. Correct if I'm wrong because I do not know why there should be two or how to test which one is bad.

I have located the accumulator, filter and pump but there is an additional pump.
