A/C Compressor Oil - Experts chip in please

I have read as many threads as possible on flushing the a/c system, replacing the compressor and charging the system with R12. The car is a 1986 300E and I am replacing a failed compressor.

There are a few suggestions to switch to synthetic oil for the compressor. I have come across a few and am looking for suggestions/recommendations:

Duracool A/C Oil Chill - http://www.duracool.com/Duracool/acoilchill.html

Supercool Ester oil with U/v dye - http://www.supercool.ac/Lubricants.htm

BVA 100 auto ester glow - http://www.ackits.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=01&Product_Code=41-50062-8

Is there any other synthetic oil that is recommended?

Thanks.

Several years ago I replaced the compressor on my '93 190E. Although I recharged the system with R12, I used Ester 100 oil from NAPA that is compatible with R12 and R134A just in case I needed switch to R134A in the future...I still have a jug of R12.

Everything is still working good since replacing the compressor and drier/receiver and I'm still using R12.

You can purchase a flush solvent. Use this material and your air compressor to flush everything out. To flush out the compressor fill it with the appropriate oil and spin it in the proper direction. Do this three or four times.

Just use off the shelf ester oil.

You can use acetone to flush the a/c hoses out, just be careful with it.
