New battery, now no blower

Good morning,

I had my '07 GL450 into the dealer for A service and slow cranking. They replaced the battery, and when I fired it up it was back to a normal very rapid start.
After about 10 minutes on the road, I realized the heat blower was not running at all, regardless of auto mode or manual fan speed selection.
I'm heading back this afternoon for another service, and I imagine the techs will figure it out pretty quickly.

Going to the dealer is kind of a PITA, I wondering if there is some kind of electrical system reset routine done with the ignition switch?

I've read about "re-setting" the electronic throttle control with a combination of key action & pedal pushing.

Is this just wishful thinking?

TIA,

David in MD

No reset procedure. most likely a blower regulator issue.

It may be a PITA, but at least it's under warranty...

Thanks to you both.
I'll let the techs do what they do best later today.
Should I anticipate leaving the vehicle for the day?

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

It was not anything they could do while I waited.
Two other little electrical things I also noticed. The Command system clock had changed from Eastern to Central time, and the one touch up window function no longer work on the driver window only.
Hope to hear back today that everything is back in order

I was told one of the cables to the battery had not been connected, and a 40 amp fuse was listed as being replaced on the paperwork.
I'm thinking I should switch dealerships. Shoddy work at premium prices

Wow, I would have to agree with you there. If they can't even change a battery without messing up that is a red flag.
