W124 coupe door adjustment
The passenger side door on my 300CE is hard to close. It takes sometimes two tries to close it, unless a window or other door is open. What can I adjust to allow the door to close properly? I believe door adjustments are unique on the W124 coupes due to the nature of the glass and seal design.

I have a 94 e320 sedan, but with the drivers door having the same issue you mentioned. I spray WD-40 at the latch on the door (not the part on the body that doesn't move) and it seems to last a few months, then I need to respray it again. I believe you call it the latch, as it is on the door right behind the outside pull/door handle

seems like adjusting the striker plate is the most common fix
search "striker plate door" and a bunch of info is available on here
