i got an issue with a surging idle,when i slow to a stop and turn the wheel the engine dies,from to low an idle,i took off air cleaner box to check the idle control valve,its brand new,i noticed a black sensor on the back of the fuel injector sendor,it has a 2 prong connector end on it,well it was unpluged,so i though bingo theres the issue,i plugged it back in,then test drove,the cars idleing stalling issue had been solved,but after i reconnected it the car suddenly lost power on take off,and the power seemed to return strong as i lifted the throttle up off the floor,it was very sluggish taking off from a stop,i then unplugged it again and found that maybe there was a reason for it being unplugged.but now my first problem is back,the issue with the surging idle and stalling of the engine,i also noticed when i loosened the two flat head screws on that unplugged sensor, gasoline squirted out.does anyone know what that sensor is for,and why it may have been unplugged,any help will be of great appreciation.i just purchased this car.
