The climate controls in my 92 400E are not lit up. Is the an easy fix, or would I need to pull the climate control unit apart

Remove two phillips screws above the radio, swing the wood panel upward and out.
Remove two pieces of tape over bulb holes, insert rubber vacuum hose to slip over bulb and pull bulb out, replace X2. Replace wood panel and screws.

I've ordered from Fast Lane, bought from the VW/Audi dealer, used some spares for my Land Rover, ... carry one in to a local dealer of any kind and see if they have them.
I also have a heater/blower strip fuse, in a VW/Audi bag, ... same as an A6 part. Not everything is MB only.
