I told my friend I was going to do the vacuum hose ends on the 400E yesterday and he said he had some good hose to weight for him to get there. So when he came he handed me some hose that was covered with a cloth like rap ! It was great for doing ends that had tight angles. He got it at the VW dealer and he said it was not to expensive!

maybe i will check into that stuff,i found a broken hard plastic vacum line on my fuel pressure regulator,temp replaced with soft rubber line.
