Console lights
Hey guys,
So I've finally manned up and decided to tackle the little electrical gremlin I've been having for 2 years now, haha. My antenna is verrryyyyyyyyyy testy. It didn't work when I bought the car, so I assumed it was the antenna mast or motor or whatnot, but no, after driving one day last year, I decided to turn it on. Voila, it went RIGHT up, with little hesitation. I cleaned it up and oiled it, and went about my merry way. 3 months later, she decides not to rear her head up from the antenna port, and every so often when I try, it won't go up unless I hold it in the raise position, and not click it to max. Now, however, it does not work at all; surprisingly get some good reception on local stations though... ANYWAYS, my question is, all of my console lights are illuminated except for the antenna and rear lamp, which I see are on the same circuit and fuse. The lamp works. Are these two switches supposed to be illuminated? I don't know why I thought of the switch as a possible problem... My fader only rolls forwards too, could that be an issue as well? Thanks guys, Carlen |

Wow, I don't mean to be impatient, but no one can tell me if these switches light up?

Yes, they should light up, as well as the indicators on the bottom of the center A/C vent assembly. These are lit by fiber optic cables, not individual lights. The bulb is behind the climate control panel on the front of the heater core/evaporator case.
Had to look in your profile to see which car you were talking about.
