Oilchange: collapsed filter?
I changed the oil today, in my SEL, and was alarmed to see that the outgoing filter had collapsed on itself around the center bolt.(see photos) Black as pitch, and lots of sludge at the bottom of the canister. filter came out in three pieces.
 top cap filter and smaller gasket. New Beck Arnly filter went in, no probs..Oil level before change was on par, although only about 6 liters came out. 8 Liters went in and was again on par.  Phone pics, as I don't typically take my Nikon with me for oil changes.
