Fasten your Seatbelt!
Hey guys,
Out of nowhere on my 1993 400E, the "fasten your seatbelt" light started flashing constantly. Do these cars have a pressure switch in the seat that senses whether or not some one is sitting there? And if so, is it common for it to malfunction? I notice there are wires going into the reciever for the seatbelt. Temporary solution to problem: Removed light bulbs from the flasher. That is not how I like to do things. I like the feeling of knowing my Mercedes-Benz is looking out for me. (I also found that I have keyless entry when I stashed the bulbs in my glovebox )

Actually that is just a problem in the dome lamp.
Either remove the bulb(s) OR get a new/different dome lamp assembly.

Doesn't really seem worth it to me...I guess I will just leave the bulbs out. Thanks!
