Replacing front and rear disc brake pads 1992 300E ??

I am going to be replacing the disc brake pads front and rear and using a Motive power bleeder to purge the system of old bake fluid. I noticed there is a section on putting the bake pads on a newer 300E. my car is a 1992 and the brake calibers are different. Can you out line for me some tips to follow. This is my first time solo so I do not want to mess up I already asked Phil at fast lane to call me so I can place an order for the proper pads and hardware.
I also remember when my friend who owns a 190 2.6 did my brakes he I think un do the two nuts or bolts the hold the front caliber so it could be swung up and tied. I am not too well at recollecting what the rear disc brakes were to do So I need some help there too.

I hope you can help me.
Sincerely
Bob Geco

why?

You don't need to even mess with the hydrolics...you are simply replacing the brake pads right? No...are you sure? I just did my 1990 300TE front end brakes for $21 and I mean that....and it was my first MB brake job...no big deal..just like BMW actually...no big deal....

300-E barke pad replacement

what I need is some simple information. I am not quite sure your car and mine have the same design calipers. I want to replace the pads front and rear and bleed the old dirty brake fluid out. I am more concerned about the procedure to properly change pads and the sensors then purging the old brake fluid out.

I could really use some help know the brake pedal is getting lower ever day and I do not want to get into replacing brake rotors. This is alittle scary at first so a little more information could help me out.

Thanks
Bob Geco

If your pedal is getting spongy, besides the brake fluid you should consider replacing the brake hoses (it is 18 years old), and verify that you have good master cylinder (and less frequently, caliper) seals, which should be evident if you are losing brake fluid.

Brake pad replacement 300-E

I talked to Roy from fastlane the technical go to person.
he gave me all the information I need. The 300E has only 045,000 mile on it it lives in a dry climate so my brake hoses are fine no sponginess in the pedal. I just wanted to put clean brake fluid in the system and replace the disc brake pads front and rear.

Thank you all for your help , I do appreciate the return comments made.
