My alarm problem is happening more often now and I am also having battery problems.
The last few months if I don't drive the car much for three or four days the battery would be dead. However, yesterday I drove about 200 miles and my battery was dead this morning. My alarm also went off for a few minutes this morning as well. My question is whether or not my battery/charging system could be causing the alarm problem or could it be the other way around?

UPDATE:
Well, a few weeks ago I broke down and bought a new battery and installed it.
The same day I also fixed a niggling issue with my rear passenger door lock. My dogs had managed to unscrew the top plastic part and this allowed the threaded shaft to get caught under the lip of the opening in the door trim. As a result, the door stayed locked. Since I fixed that and installed the new battery I have had zero issues with my alarm going off for no reason. I hope this helps somebody.
