1987 560SL V8

CURRENTLY BEING RESTORED.

WHAT BRAND OF TRANSMISSION FLUID, POWER STEERING FLUID,SPARK PLUGS AND AIR FILTER TO USE?

Trick shift for auto,and power steering,NGK plat plugs,any sync.85w125 gear oil, air filter K+N.

Advice on this or any forum regarding fluids, spark plugs, fuel or any consumable varies. Suggestions range from correct to ridiculous and dangerous.

My advice is to get a factory manual and follow those recommendations.

So very true, sadly. However, jhodg5ck was more or less in line with that, though I'd be more careful about the trans fluid personally.
