I am working on an intermittent stalling problem on my W126 - 89 300SE. It sometimes stalls when coasting to a stop. I you coast for a while and brake lightly it has a higher chance of stalling. The M103 engine dies and I get either a yellow ABS light or sometimes a SRS light. From what I read on the boards its a classic sign of a bad OVP. Thing is that the OVP was replaced by the previous owner in 05 or so. It is the type with a red top and 2 10 amp fuses. I pulled the fuses and they are both intact. Do the new OVP's not last very long? Any other things to check?
I am also chasing down a low idle problem but I think I have that narrowed down to a vacuum leak in the Climate control system. I plugged the vacuum port on the Manifold that feeds the Climate control and economy gauge and had a much better idle. It just still dies. Now to test through the climate system!
