Insert the MB instrument cluster hook tools (one on each side) about an inch up from the bottom and turn the handles 1/4 turn so that the hooks will grab the cluster and pull out. Unhook the electrical connections and work the cluster out. If you have tilt steering, having the steering wheel all the way down helps TREMENDOUSLY.
