91' 190e - Bad coolant leak

I was told from a couple other enthusiasts to find some forums and sign up... My car is so damn reliable i figured I didn't need to sign up anywhere!!

Well last night i noticed my low fluid light come on.. and shorty after.. engine temperature was going up and down... ( It never goes up and down like that)

So I pull over to a gas station.. Fans are just blazing.... and I look under the chasis for the inevitable...

Anti-freeze/coolant pouring out the bottom of the car like a 2 liter bottle that got knocked over...

Not exactly pouring.. but.. I have never seen coolant leak like that before..

The leak is coming out the bottom of the cars Skid plate.. and theres a little of it to the right.. I dont know how you guys describe which side is left or right of the car so... (As if I was driving) on the right side of the skid plate theres some drips.. and in the center of the skid plate its pouring...

Well i put a bunch of coolant in it and got her home.... Today I woke up and went out to the car.. there was drain/run off going into my street.. looked like 2 cups of water (ammount)

So I decided to put some water in it to see what would happen.... Well first part of the gallon nothing happenened... and then a lil over half a gallon.. It starts dripping green antifreeze...-

I'm guessing there is some " limit" to how much can run out as it sits... as i oviously " over filled" past wherever the " Hole" is....

Any input.. ? This is my first older mercedes.. it's run like a champ.. Up here in the cold alaska.. It starts up better in the winter then it does in the summer... It's a complete fluke of its kind... I love the car to death.. it has 107,000 miles.. I'm going to drive it untill I cant !

Thanks for the help !

Most likely a bad rubber coolant hose somewhere. There is one in the top of the engine bay, next to the oil filter. Can you see anything hoses in the engine bay visibly leaking?

Take the engine belly pan off and see if you can pinpoint the leak.

There's really nowhere else for coolant to leak from.
