E-60

I noticed an E-60 yesterday in a parking lot in Palm Springs. It appeared to be an early '90's car. How rare are these since they don't show in the AutoTrader model listings?

Very rare if its the real deal. Sure it wasn't just some joker with a badge stuck on?

What is an E60? Is this the famed performance version of the E Class never offered in North America?

If its a W124 then its a 500E with the 6 litre motor from AMG most likely ....yes, everyone but NA customers could have ordered that special option code for the motor.

Got a pic?

Sorry guys. By the time I got out of the appointment, it was gone. Certainly didn't look like an AMG car. Probably rebadged, but then I live in a retirement area. What old codger would do that

I saw a W124 E60 in Orange County but when I took a closer look it was a E420
