Replace Water Drains?

There are drains in each of the Trianguler areas under the hood. One under the battery, and one up areound the brake booster I guess, that one I can't see much. The drain ubder the car on both sides of the floorboard besides the transmission.

I cleaned the area under the battery tray and cleaned out the hole in that inboard corner where the hose should connect to.

Here's my question or questions.

I don't see a hose coming up into the battery compartment, is there supposed to be a hose visible? All I have is a hole?

How hard are those hoses to replace? The portions that stick out under the car are basically wire coils.

All I can find is the IN hole and the OUT hole!

Hello.

Try getting something long, flexible, and pushable to 'rod out' the drains. Chances are they are just plugged with decaying organic matter and it will probably be easier to unblock them than replace them. Our cars seem to like to collect leaves under the battery tray, etc., and I have to clean my "gutters" several times a year.

You can also try compressed air; which will work if the junk isn't packed up too tight.

Good luck.

I only see a wire and not the hose. I think the hose has left the auditorium, possibly around the same time Elvis did! Well, maybe not that long ago!

So back to the original question, how would someone go about replacing these? I've already tried rod, etc. But I don't think there is still a hose there.
