Signal Aquisition Module 1999 C280

Hello All,
New member here but been reading the comments for awhile. I have a 1999 C280 Sport that turns out has a Signal Aquisition Module different from what everyone else seems to have. I purchased part # 201 821 00 47 which is what I read that I needed because my wipers work whenever they want to and when they do work they "jerk" across my windshield. My emergency flashers (4-ways) quit working and my turn signals flash extremely fast. all of this happened at the same time and i thought that i needed the above part number. $200 in labor later and a part that I don't need (because there isn't one on my car that we can find) my mechanic located the SAM with the following part number: 019 545 56 32. When I type this into the search on FastLane it cross references automatically to 022 545 53 32.
What I need to know is, does this control the three or four things that I listed above and if so, does it have to be programmed by a Mercedes dealer upon installation or is it a plug & play like the #201 821 00 47 that doesn't fit my car?
Thanks again for any help that you can give as this is getting expensive quickly!!

Rik

No "coding" required.

Just plugs into the bottom of the rear fusebox.

Note: the "201" part number wasn't used after 1995! on any MB

You can get a used one from junk yard.

W202/210 & C208 cars used them from 1998 thru 2002.

Just wanted to say a sincere thanks for your guidance in this. I ended up buying from e-bay Germany for about $80 total w/ shipping. The cheapest I could find here in the states was about $160 so I saved 50% by waiting a few more days!
There are still a couple more issues with my benz that I will post a separate thread for.
