Can you folks give me a heads up on this car?

As many of you know, i learned the hard way when I purchased my 560SL. I didn't know the pitfalls of the Headgasket, Valve Guides and seals issues surrounding the SL model. I was fortunate because God protects dummies like me.

I don't want to press my luck this time and would like to get this car checked out! What should I look for?

Timing chain? Headgaskets? Transmission? Front or Rear end parts? Hi Hi maintenance?

Can I get the general scoop?

Thanks to all in advance! This Board has made me a believer. I read every post as best I can and I can honestly say that you people have taught me a great deal!

By the way this is my 560 before Zaino! I'll get you all one after Zaino in the Spring. A Big Big difference!
