How sad is this... I can't find the + lead to connect power to the '71 220D project car I just acq'd. There is a ground lead, but NO lead for + that I can find ANYwhere! My Haynes manual isn't here yet; can anyone tell me, in really-dumb-layman's terms, what length (ballpark) and gauge lead I need, and where it terminates? Does it run 'round back to the starter?

Pretty pathetic, huh? Please, be gentle... this is my first Benz. Thanks in advance, Chris cscmc1@eiu.edu |
