on no start

wanted 2 get back 2 all , i was using my 260 e as a daily driver this is a 89, then i got my 90 300 e 4 , 500 bucks had to get it towed home after sitting 5 years very hard 2 get running right. had 2 buy new fuel pumps. one of the fuel pumps i put on was a reman. it went bad in 2 days. so i got my money back and got the new pumps. in mean time i took a pump of my 260 e 1989, to be able to drive untill my new pumps came in. so my 260 e sits up 9 months , with 1 fuel pump removed. i put a new pump on it and no start. after going threw it again , what it was , the other fuel pump was bad after sitting 9 months. runs now, i guess these fuel pumps need to be working not sitting up for months. i paid 700 for the 260 e , all i had to do was jump start it and drive away. the 500 buck 300 e was a job.
