300 CE blower motor/regulator
First of all thanks to jslabotsky and jbach36 for their wiki
http://www.peachparts.com/Wikka/W124BlowerMotor My blower motor quit a couple of weeks ago.. with some trouble shooting everything pointed to the regulator. I was fortunate to snag an aftermarket one on Ebay for 67 dollars new. Anyway, the job was pretty straightforward thanks to the instructions provided by these guys. I can't figure out what makes the regulator go out. My blower motor appeared to be stuck a bit. I applied oil to it and gave it juice and it finally started spinning like a champ. That said...I wonder if was hanging up and caused the regulator to go bad? The fuse was fine. I only did one boneheaded thing: I forgot to plug the windshield wiper motor back up. So i I had the grille on and then remembered. That cost me about a half hour. 3.5 hour job.
