If it's any consolation to you, the W140 coupes are pretty rare everywhere except the U.S.
And in most of the rest of the world no one want's them either.

Where I reside, a well sorted '90's E class costs more than a W140.

I bought a W140 400SEL new back in '94. I only ever had it looked at in the dealership - and even those guys had technical knowledge problems with it.
