Are W124 Outside Temp Gauges LCD's interchangable?
Here is a pic of my current gauge...As you can see, the LCD has leaked.
I have another Temp Gauge, but it is from a later model I found at the junkyard and the housing is physically different along with the pinouts. I swapped the LCD's over, but the bottom pic shows the results. Is that incompatibility or just a bad LCD? Any thoughts? Thanks guys    --> Other temp LCD:
