Just to be sure..Belt Tensioner

I want to make sure thats the problem before I buy one..

I replaced the serp belt yesterday on my 400e.. all was well. Today the belt squealed so I checked it... loose as a goose. So I figure the belt stretched. I tried to tighten it and I ran out of adjustment... still loose.

I am 99% sure I need a new tensioner but I want to make sure.

Thanks

Sounds like it, the 93 tensioner is spring loaded which is what I have but I would guess that yours is shot with the adjuster style. They are prone to going bad once tension has been taken off them.
