Adjust SLS to level out rear? W126

My driver's side sits noticeably lower than the passenger side. Can the SLS shock absorber thingy be adjusted on one side? I am aware of the sway bar adjustments and location. But that would not work to level it out.

You should examine the coil springs on that side as they may have a coil broken off probably on the bottom.

It could also be the failure of the suspension (shock/nitrogen cell) on that side.

Above answers are spot-on, to furhter address your question, no the sls won't adjust just one side, they are both tied in together.

Thanks much. I will look into it and see what I can fine. I am WAY to used to air suspension on four corners. This coil spring stuff is weird to work on again. I did not even think about a broken spring and should have.

It looks like the PO had a benz dealer replace the accumulators but I am not sure about the shock/working end of the setup.
