190e with a 3.0l no start

just finished putting a 3l from an 89 300e. I cant get this thing to run. I replaced the crank sensor but I am not too sure about the quality. Any ideas? sounds like a timing issue. any help I would appreciate. Charlie d

Charlie, it could be any number of things. The crank sensor may be faulty but check for spark, fuel pressure, any number of electrical faults, etc. Troubleshooting someone saying "it won't run, what's wrong" is near impossible over the internet. For all we know, the battery could be missing. Not trying to be overly critical, but to be of any help at all we really need more details.

I Installed a [88-3.0 in to a 93 car]used same computor ,It been 8 or so yr's.spark could be controled differently. crank/flywheel sencer. so if you can use same spark control that was with body, may help. from winshild back its the same, the front is different longer front fender's. But the 3.0 will go right in a 124.026 body 190 2.8, Is that what you are talking about. . But you need to provide more info, for help.
