W124 - (Late model) Replacing rear pads and rotors QUESTION

As seems to be my fate when I do any brake work, I run into snags that make me question my sanity!

Problem (as I see it): I ordered my new rear rotors from a local euro shop and I may have received the wrong rotor. I am going to (try) include a picture of the ones on the car and a picture of the new ones (still in the box). Are the new ones wrong, based upon the 'look'? Not sure but I think the old ones are considered "vented"? Will I be sorry for going ahead and using the new ones?

Of course it's Saturday and the shop is not open! The car has been partially dismantled and is not completely inside my garage which will prevent the overhead door from coming down...!

BTW, I have read that these rascals are pretty difficult to remove (rotors) and I am finding that to be the case so far. PB Blaster, heat, small dead-blow hammer just isn't doin' it - so far. I'll let it soak for a while. SO MUCH FOF A "SMALL" COUPLE HOUR SATURDAY JOB TURNING INTO A FULL DAY AND THEN SOME!!!

Thanks for ANY support - moral or otherwise!
