I went to get my 95 c280 smogged yesterday and everything was good except the HC PPM levels were too high on the car. The max allowable was 34 and my car was at 67. Im not sure what i can do to lower the number. Any ideas?

High Hc readings are most likely a result of a slight misfire.

Is the secondary ignition system in good condition?
Does the engine use OR burn any oil?
