Brake Line Threads - Size? Type?
Pulled the lines of my ASR Pressure Accumulator. Replacements are $75 each and I don't fancy pulling them anyway. Just need to fix the leak near the end. So I am thinking to add 6" or so to each.
I'll buy a Double flare tool - sounds like that's pretty standard but what are the threads and sizes? The females on the acc. are pretty dirty and hard to access so I'd better know I have the right threads or I'm toast!! Really need the ASR in Canada! The line measures 3/16" with 1/8" ID, the threads seem to be .375" - .390" but are kinda messy. I am VERY surprised to be measuring in Inches!! Any advice? The car is a 1993 400E built for Canada. Thanks

brake line flare nut threads are m10 x 1.0. the lines are standard 3/16" brake tubing. not sure this is correct for the ASR lines you need, but if they are line the brake lines, that might be it.
