Turn Signal Issues
My Car: '03 CLK-500
Hi All: My front passengerside turn signal on my headlight went out. I tried to replace the bulb but it still would not work. So I tried to clean out the bulb socket from any grime, but it's STILL not working. Any ideas what the cause/cure could possibly be? |

Nope, it's not a bad bulb, I tried switching the bulbs and the bulb worked in the other socket, but the bulb FROM the other socket didnt work. What could be the deal? Could it possibly be a wiring issue? If so, is it something I can fix myself?

An old post, but I thought I'd provide info for future searches.
On these cars C-class CLK-class starting in 2001, there is a turn signal socket upgrade for the lamp near the headlight (both sides) they add a new socket and splice a new (ground) wire into the existing wire. I think you can buy the repair kit at the parts counter. |
