creaking seals to convertible top

my clk makes creaking sounds (like rubber rubbing on rubber) when going over bumps. Is there a trick to perhaps lubricating those so that they glide on each other or something like that. Any products to recommend? It is really noticeable with the seal between the top and the windshield frame.

Thanks!

answered my own question. Krytox appears to be the answer.

At my dealership we use MB #A000 989 35 60 sliding compound for problems like yours. It works very well IMHO. Wurth makes a product called Rubber Care which also works well.

You are exactly right. Some slight research (google) show that GM, VW, Mercedes (many others I am sure) sell a gel or liquid that has krytox as the ingredient. They all are the same. It can also be bought directly as krytox from Dupont. It is not inexpensive, but the best product out there. Thank you!!
