Transmodulator Adjustment/Replacement Question
I did some searches on the forum to see how to adjust and replace this item, but I could not find how this item is removed. Is it bolted on? or screwed on?

Not sure which model you are working on, might not matter. Typically there is a bracket at the base held down with a 10mm head bolt, you remove the bolt and bracket and it pulls out. You might lose a little fluid in the process.

Sorry Gilly, its the 722.3 transmission for the 1989 M103 300E.
Thanks for the information, I am going to rent a vacuum tester tomorrow to see if it holds any vacuum for at least 30 seconds. Otherwise, I am going to get a replacement.

Thanks for the link!
I really hope I just have a vacuum leak somewhere else, really don't want to have to lower the transmission...
