Starting to think about a W210 wagon purchase...

So I'm considering buying a 98-01 E320 4matic wagon for my daily driver vehicle.

Anything I should be aware of?

Thanks!
Ryan

You should be aware that the usual "facelift" occurred beginning with 2000 models and that you for sure want a facelift version.

Just the usual 210 stuff, all well documented here. Learn where to look for rust, the 210 doesn't resist it quite as well as the 124. Hardest part will likely be finding one clean enough to satisfy you. The wagons especially tend to be used hard. The guy that purchased my 2001 had rejected the previous 15 he'd looked at, mostly due to damage by kids, pets, etc.

Well the good news is I will be comparing the wagon to my 84 300SD with ~300k miles on it, so I think any wagon will be spic and span!

Only half kidding, your comments are appreciated and noted.

Go for it!

If I needed/wanted one I'd have bought one last year. I love 'em - very attractive cars - I just can't drive more than one car at a time!
