ON the rear pump assembly the O-ring, intermediate plate, Pump housing, Shut-off piston, Pump drive gear, Pump driven gear, Compression spring, Spring retainer, Closing cover, Locking ring, O-ring Teflon rings, & hex socket screws(for the Rear Pump Assembly) get discarded. Replace with new seal & safety plate & new Hex Socket Screws. The secondary pump was the weak link in the tranny & was what caused the failures. It was only good for pushing the car anyway, and it's against the law to push a car anyhow! All that plastic surround bumper stuff don't work for pushing cars...they are just towed.

yikes...i thought it was an external part.... no need to buy insurance parts for a transmission failure.... that's beyond our diy capabilities.
