Exclamation Does my 1994 E320 have a OBD2 port?

Does my 1994 E320 have a OBD2 port? Was driving down the road and all of a sudden it started to run like @#&$. Its kinda of spudering/missing all the time.
Thinking it the wiring harness. Acting like my C280 when that harness went. I took out the harness on my C280 and rebuilt it... Wire by wire. Thats 12 hours of hell I dont want to do again... Going to do plugs and wires, and test coil packs.
Thanks Jay

No it does not. Passenger side of the engine compartment, just forward of the battery is a big plug for testing various systems in the car. My '94 has the LED integrated into this plug so I can press the button and get a general idea of whats wrong. Then use a home made code reader to get detailed error reports.

Jay, sounds like a failed coil pack ... likely the rear one. Confirm that before replacing the ignition wires.

Spark plugs should be changed every 30,000 miles, but they wouldn't act up suddenly. It would be a gradual loss of performance.

Read the codes and find out. Most common is the spark-plug connector, coil packs are up there also (I have a new one I'll sell if you need it), but once a misfire is detected the computer will shut down fuel to that cylinder to protect the cat and reduce emissions until it re-starts without the miss. Some failures take more than one event to light the CEL, others immediately, and still more will not light the CEL. You will need the code-reader to read all but the emissions codes (the ones with the built-in light/button) so search ""Arthur Dalton" and "Code Reader"" for the codes and how to build the simple and cheap reader.
