Getting frustrated, NSS issues?

So I have done the test, if I bypass the NSS the car will start and I am off down the road. I ordered a new NSS installed it along with new shift bushings and... a big NOTHING!! The only thing I gained was now I have reverse lights when I put it in gear and it shifts through the gears smoother. WHAT CAN I DO??!!??!!! I am tempted to hook up a push button started switch and just bypass the NSS all together. I would rather keep this as original as possible. The PO did manage to do a huge wiring nightmare but I can rule that out with the bypass test.

I am all ears

Some car information.
