NGK PLUGS,cap and rotor?

hello,i just purchased some new plugs for my 89 300ce,my choices were champion, wich i think not, lol, autolite or ngk,i chose the NGK v-power copper resister type, does anyone have any experience with these plugs? im setting the gap to .032,per factory spec, anyone like these plugs,i noticed the v groove in the center of the electrode, ive been having some bad fuel economy latley,my wires look brand new,im also going to be replacing the cap and rotor, anyone have any ideas as to a good cap and rotor? other than the autozone special wich was $87.00 for the cap and $31.00 for the rotor, looked like it was made from brass. thanks.marc
