have you checked your refrigerant levels? there's a couple Pressure switches in the system if memory serves that keep the compressor off if it's low. There may also be a RPM sensor that kicks your compressor off at idle. not 100% on that though

The rpm sensor is monitored by the Klima. I would agree the most likely problem is low freon though. And even that the Klima relay controls, the klima is what switches the compressor clutch on and off, but the few things it monitors are the freon high/low pressure switches and the rpm sensor (compares it to engine rpm). You could jump power to the clutch as a test to see if the clutch is capable of engaging, if it does than you have to test the inputs to the klima, or the klima could be bad, but that one doesn't fail that much.

Thanks for the input . Is there some way to jump the Klima pins to have a direct operation of the compressor ? Similar to jumping the fuel pump relay .
regards
