W140 downstream O2 sensors swap

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if all the O2 sensors in my W140 (1997 S500 - 2nd gen) work the same way. The upstream sensors are identical (Bosch 13642)
My question is: Can I swap the downstream sensors?
I know the left (Bosch 13798) has longer leads, than the right one (Bosch 13782). I could solder an extension to the 4wires temporarily.
Are the connectors the same?
Is the couple extra inches going to affect any read-out data. The car operates on CAN - very sensible when it comes to sensors.

Thank you very much to everyone!
Great forum!

You can do anything you want - the sensors are all the same, they all take the same Bosch universal, #15738.
