Question Problem with speedo number difference "w210" 1996

Hi!
I just bought a new speedo for my car and when i put it in place, only the gas gage works. Almost all other lights are on. Abs,SRS, Oil, you name it..
My real number of the speedo is: 2105401147 (04) and i bought a: 2105400348
"Wich is in not working well as i said". Now, i wonder is it because of the
difference between those two numbers?

Thanks

The part nos must match exactly and sometimes vary even within a model year. Second, the cluster must be coded to the ECU using the SDS (Star Diagnostic System). These are reasons why many people prefer to have their own cluster repaired.

Good luck.
