'94 E320 OEM Alarm System Troublesome
The OEM alarm system on my E320 is acting up.
Sometimes when I drive along the little red alarm light on the dashboards blinks and a hear clicks from someplace under the front passenger area airbag area - like a relay or something. Other times the red blinks and the clicking noises are gone. My car doesn't have a remote for the central locking system (not even from factory.) Is this the small micro-switches in the locks that's defective, or something else? Can I disable the entire alarm system in some way?

Yes. The black alarm control relay is located under the passenger floor mat(s). Unplug if and your alarm will be disabled, and the clicking should stop.
EDIT: Arthur Dalton just reminded me that the 94/95's have an immobilizer feature. So you cannot just unplug the alarm box. You might want to replace it with another good used one. Or if you do unplug it, you can Quote:

How do I do this? Jumper the K38 relay I mean.
And the alarm control box, where is it? I found a picture on the web of where it should be, but I couldn't find it...
