light switch and sunroof

Im slowly getting everything working on my 300e and am rather proud of myself.I have all the lights working now and have noticed to turn on driving lights i have to pull out switch but noticed it has 2 pull settings and was wondering what they are for. On the sunroof i checked the plug on switch and have no power in any of the holes on plug.Is there a relay? if so how do i test it? I looked at fuses and they look fine.I love this car and now cant imagine not driving my merc. So far the euro lights are good and when i finally figure out how to get them pointing in the right direction they will be great. really gives the car a different look.I got the antenna to come up on 3 masts out of four and am rather happy aboout that. Thanxx for all the help. I love this site.

First pull out on the switch turns on the front fog lights, second pull turns on the rear fog light. The rear fog light should only illuminate on the driver side tailight IIRC.

Rear fog only on '90-up on the USA-bound 124s.

Ok this might sound like a silly question but why a rear foglight?

In blinding blizzards/snowstorms where visibility is below 6ft in front of the car. The rear fog light indicates to other drives that you are there.

Rear fogs on my euro 500sec are 2 additional red bulbs (closest to license plate on both sides) that are same intensity as brake lights. As posted above, so the car behind you can see you sooner.

Sounds like a good idea. Of course with my 87 it would be just another electrical gremlin to fix lol. Any ideas on the sunroof. I want to get this car to 100% thanxx
